Claire's Friendly Inspiration:
The Colour Scheme: Shades of lilac and light green with hints of white will be the basis for this wedding.
The Invitations: These floral invitations feature the lilac and green colour scheme and beautiful calligraphy.
Ceremony Space: The ceremony space has an incredible backdrop of bright flowers and cascading trees with small glimpses of the lake behind it.
Reception Space: With its high ceilings and sunroom feel, this space is the perfect setting for the reception.
The Property: Throughout the property are views of the lake, beautiful gardens, and other natural details that make this venue even more perfect,
The Bride:
The Dress: This Sophia Tolli dress mixes the traditional white gown with nontraditional purple flowers. The floral details are in shades of lilac and violet.
The Look & Accessories: The bridal bouquet will have flowers in different shades of lavender, along with the lilacs that the bride requested. Claire's updo will showcase her natural curls, decorated with pearl hair
pins. Claire requested that she wear a simple silver band with a mobius twist, paired with purple-tinted
earrings.
The Bridesmaids: These mauve Jim Hjelm Occasions
dresses match the smaller flowers on the bridal gown. The bridesmaids will wear matching pearl and crystal
earrings and hold lilac bouquets.
The Groom & Groomsmen: The groom and groomsmen will wear light grey suits with lilac dress
shirts. To match his bride's dress, the groom will wear a deep purple
tie, while the groomsmen wear white silk
ties. They will also have lilac boutonnieres.
The Ceremony: The ceremony space already has such a beautiful backdrop, so the decorations will be simple. The archway will be adorned with purple flowers and greenery. The aisle chairs will be decorated with the flowers that will match the arch.
The Reception: The reception tables will have white tablecloths with floral centerpieces in white and green pitchers. The place settings will be white plates with lavender menus and little vases for place cards. The backs of the bride and groom's chairs will have sage green wreaths with "Mr" and "Mrs" signs.
The Cake: The cake will be layered with lavender and white and have a light green "love grows here" topper.
The Favours: Claire really wanted to give her guests candles, so to tie the theme of the wedding in, the guests will receive lavender candles. They will be displayed in wooden crates to match the natural feel of the reception space.
