Yesterday, I celebrated one of my dearest friend's impending nuptials with a Parisian Bridal Shower. Here is a look into the wonderful French world created for Katherine.
The gorgeous bride-to-be!
The Decor:
The tables were decorated with burlap runners and bright, spring-time flower arrangements in mason jars.
The centrepieces, along with French water carafes.
Each place setting had an individual cream napkin, along with the favour boxes. Each box had a printed "merci" and was filled with delicious chocolates.
When we first arrived at the shower, there was a vintage blackboard sign leading us in. On the table walking in, there was a golden calligraphy sign that was made by my friend, Chelsea. Each guest was also greeted with a stamped name tag. Above the window there was an adorable handmade sign that read "She said oui!"
The Food:
Katherine's family prepared a true Parisian brunch for the guests. There were three different types of quiches, a golden ham, freshly baked scones and croissants, a French toast casserole (yum!), waldorf salad, and a full fruit buffet.
For dessert, there were so many delicious options! Gourmet funfetti cupcakes (Katherine's favourite), chocolate and coconut madelines, bundt cakes, an array of macaroons, and yummy cookies.
There was also a champagne bar!
There were three different games that we played throughout the afternoon. The first was a He said/She said based on their Facebook statuses; the second was guessing how well Matt (her fiancé) knows Katherine; and the third was "Who knows the bride best?"
Both Chelsea and I knew the most correct answers, so we won prizes! Not only was the wrapping job adorable, but the gifts were perfect!
Isn't Chelsea adorable!?
Friends since high school! So blessed to have made these friendships so many years ago and that we were able to celebrate with Katherine together.
Such a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon - in Paris.
