Nutcracker: Land of the Sweets

December with Dear Wedding Day: Nutcracker

Today's December post is inspired by the Nutcracker scene "Land of the Sweets" in Act II. It's my favorite part of the ballet, with all of the different cultures played out in dance. Enjoy the inspiration and tell me what you love most about the Nutcracker on Instagram and Facebook with hashtag #decemberwithdwd.

The Inspiration:

Personal "Nutcracker" Post:
Every year since I was six years old, the women in my family have attended the Nutcracker. It's one of my most treasured traditions, not only because the ex-dancer in me loves the ballet, but because it's something that I get to share with some of the strongest women I know. As a souvenir, I always pick out a ballerina ornament.

Tomorrow at DWD: Hot Cocoa
