Friendly Inspiration: Jacquie

If you missed the inspiration behind this romantic Disney wedding, see it here.

Jacquie's Friendly Inspiration:

The Colour Scheme: Jacquie's day will be filled with shades of greens and purples.

The Invitations: Simple white invitations with purple and green flowers and writing will introduce the guests to the wedding theme.

The Venue: Dunsmuir House

The Ceremony Location: The ceremony will take place on the mansion lawn, with beautiful trees as its backdrop.

The Reception Location: The celebration will take place in the garden pavilion, with its high ceilings and windows adding detail to the room.

The Bride:

The Dress: Jacquie will wear a Namoi Neoh lace gown, complete with capped sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, and flowing skirt.

The Look: To complete her look, Jacquie's hair will be in a curled updo accessorized with a lace veil and sparkly headband. She will also wear a pearl necklace with added floral details, pearl earrings, and Cinderella-inspired shoes. During the ceremony, she will hold a green and purple bouquet, complete with white roses.

The Bridesmaids: The bridal party will wear emerald sweetheart dresses and will carry white and purple bouquets.

The Groom & Groomsmen: The men will wear emerald ties to match the bridesmaids. The groom will wear a dark suit and his groomsmen will wear dark pants. The boutonnieres will be white roses accented with purple and green.

The Ceremony: The aisle will be lined with purple petals and cylinder vases with floating candles. The arch will be draped with white fabric, decorated with purple and green roses and carnations with the final touch of a crystal chandelier.

The Cocktail Hour: The tables will be decorated with shimmering tablecloths and topped with white rose centrepieces and shining candles.

The Escort Cards: Guests will be led to their seats with fairytale keys.

The Reception: The tables will be set with light lavender tablecloths and crystal and gold plates. The centrepieces will be composed of tall candelabras inspired by Beauty and the Beast, surrounded by purple candles and white and green roses and carnations. Hanging from the ceiling will be beautiful chandeliers similar to the one at the ceremony.

The Cake: Sitting atop a crystal cake stand will be a lavender three-tier cake, with a ruffled effect for the bottom tier. The cake topper will be a classic Disney quote: Happily Ever After.

The Favours: Jacquie wished to give her guests candles as a thank you gift. To increase the wow-factor, the candles will be given in unique candlesticks collected throughout the engagement.

The Sendoff: Inspired by Tangled, guests will send off the couple with wish lanterns.

Next week, an outdoor garden wedding.
