Friendly Inspiration: Hope

Today's Friendly Inspiration is an intimate boho wedding set in a museum. If you missed the introduction to this wedding, check out the inspiration here!

Hope's Friendly Inspiration:

The Colour Palette: The wedding will be surrounded by shades of orange, sage, and white.

The Invitations: The guests will be invited to the wedding with these beautiful orange and green floral invites.

This museum has just recently started to host weddings, and when looking at the property, it's not hard to see why. Not only does it offer great artwork, but it has a great outdoor space to host a small reception. The ceremony will take place indoors, surrounded by the local artwork, followed by the reception on their outdoor patio.

The Bride:

The Dress: When Hope saw this Watters Bridal dress, she knew it was perfect - if only it was orange. To make her dreams come true, this dress will be dyed orange.

The Hair & Accessories: Accompanying her half-up, half-down curled hair-do will be small white flowers. Hope will also wear pearl jewelry, like these classic earrings, necklace, and bracelets (one simple and one with a little sparkle).

The Bridesmaids: Hope wanted her bridesmaids in black, so to tie the colour scheme in with these dresses, the bridesmaids will wear orange heels. They will also have a braided hairstyle with an orange, black, and green headband.

The Groom & Groomsmen: To match the bridesmaids, the groom and groomsmen will be in black pants and vests and a white button-up. To tie in the orange, the groomsmen will wear orange bowties and the groom will wear a patterned orange tie to stand out.

The Wedding Party's Flowers: The bride and bridesmaids will carry bouquets filled with orange and white flowers mixed in with greenery. The groom and groomsmen will have unique orange boutonnieres.

The Decorations:

The Ceremony: The decorations will be kept to a minimum since the museum will have all the decorations needed due to the artwork. The archway will be made up of ribbon in white and sage, along with paper flowers in the same colours, with little hints of orange. When the guests enter, they will see a hand-painted sign sharing the order of events.

The Reception: Hanging from the trees and inside the venue will be geometric "lanterns" filled with flowers in the wedding's colour scheme.

The Tables: The tables will have sage tablecloths as the backdrop to the centrepieces - vases and geometric terrariums filled with flowers and candlesticks with succulents. The hexagonal place cards will be set in white gemstones and the table numbers will be in gold.

The Cake: The two-tiered cake with be two-toned: top tier in white and bottom tier in orange. The cake will be decorated with succulents and topped with a handmade love sign.

The Gift Table: The gift table will be located next to a hand-written sign from the bride and groom thanking their friends and family for supporting their love. There will also be a geometric terrarium for guests to leave their cards for the couple.

The Favours: To keep the succulent theme throughout the wedding, the guests will take home one of their own in a milk glass jar.

Next week, a light pink, romantic, extravagant affair.
