Friendly Inspiration: Marie

If you missed the inspiration behind this summer night's wedding, check it out here. Enjoy all of the details of this bright and fun wedding below.

Marie's Friendly Inspiration:

The Colour Palette: This wedding will be focused around shades of light blue and bright orange, with hints of white.

The Invitations: These invitations are both simple and fun - perfect for this wedding celebration.

The Venue: River Ridge Ranch

The Ceremony Location: This location offers the beauty of the outdoors and the seclusion of the indoors.

The Dining Space: The reception will begin in the sunny outdoors, surrounded by beautiful greenery.

The Celebration Space: Just beside the dining area is a covered pavilion, complete with lights, music, and the perfect dance floor.

The Extra Location: Taking a break from dancing, the guests can sit by the fire.

The Bride:

The Dress: A main requirement for the bridal gown was having the ability to dance in it, and this Blush by Hayley Paige dress does just that. With its flowing skirt and unique back and neckline details, the bride is sure to dance to night away.

The Look: To show off the back of the dress, the bride will don a loose updo, complete with an orange floral hair accessory. To add a little bling, the bride will wear pearl drop earrings and a simple pearl bracelet.

The Bridesmaids: The bride's ladies will wear light blue dresses, complete with orange poppy bouquets.

The Groom & Groomsmen: The men will wear white dress shirts with tan pants and vests. To match the bridal party, they will wear light blue ties and orange poppy boutonnieres.

The Ceremony: Lining the aisle will be hydrangea petals in light blue and cream. To decorate the aisle will be orange flowers and light blue and white ribbon hanging from the chairs. The archway will be decorated with white linens and bright orange flowers. The final touch will be a cute "welcome" sign.

The Cocktail Hour: When the guests are mingling in between the ceremony and reception, different orange-coloured drinks will be served. The guests can enjoy these standing at cocktail tables decorated in white tablecloths tied with blue bows and vases filled with hydrangeas as centrepieces.

The Escort Cards: Leading the guests to their tables will be a display with name cards painted with orange poppies held by light blue clothespins.

The Reception: The outdoor space will be decorated with twinkle lights and lanterns in the three wedding colors. The long tables will be decorated with light blue and white chevron runners, while the circular tables will have light blue tablecloths. The centrepieces will consist of lanterns and unique vases filled with orange and white flowers. The place cards will feature the same painted orange poppies as the escort cards.

The Details: When the guests first walk into the reception space, they will be greeted by a hanging sign asking that the guests "join our family as we dine an dance under the stars." Inside the celebration location will be displays of photos from the couple's journey to Mr. and Mrs.

The First Dance: Something that the bride requested was a fun first dance. She wants both the romance of the first dance, along with a fun choreographed number to entertain the guests.

The Cake: The cake will be light blue, kept simple with white ribbon and beaded details. The cake topper will have the lyrics "All of Me Loves All of You" from John Legend.

The Favours: To incorporate the bride's love of music and dancing, the guests will take home a USB playlist of the couple's favourite songs in a box made to look like a cassette tape.

Next week, a princess-inspired wonderland!
